Frequently Asked Questions

It is not a legal requirement to commission a professional snagging service, however a professional snagging inspection protects your investment and provides you with a piece of mind to ensure your home has been built to the standards and the quality you were sold.

A snagging inspection can be carried out either pre-completion and post-completion.

In our experience the best time to carry out a progressional snagging inspection is post-completion as a pre-completion inspection is limited under the NHBQ code.

We can conduct an inspection before you move in. If you would like an inspection pre-handover, an agreement will need to be in place between you and the developer to grant us access.

A snag is an item or issue within a building’s construction that has been missed by the builder, or not done correctly. In time this can potentially deteriorate, causing further issues and problems.

No problem.

We can take an estimated date, and once you receive information on your completion date, just let us know and we will work with you to arrange a date for inspection.

Your inspector will arrive either at 8am or 9am depending on your preference.

This will depend on the size of your property and the quantity of snags identified.

The average inspection of a 3 bedroom house will take around 5-6 hours.
